We have only a few indications concerning the life of Nemes, a pseudonym meaning “unknown.” After engineering studies, he would have built runways for fighter jets in Russia. In the 1960s, he was committed to a psychiatric hospital in Germany, where he would remain until the end of his life. Guided by divine inspiration, his work apparently illustrates some letters of the Apostle Paul.
