The art brut collection initiated by Bruno Decharme in the mid-1970s has sparked keen interest among those close to him, particularly his children. Following the donation to the Centre Pompidou, the family decided to bring its collections together under the name Decharme Collection. Bringing together nearly 400 artists, this open and evolving collection is regularly enriched through new acquisitions, exchanges, and deaccessions.
