ROSSKOPF Karoline

[1911, Burgenland, Austria — ?]

Following a psychotic episode during which she cut her clothes into small pieces before sewing them back together, Karoline Rosskopf spent a year in the psychiatric institution of Gugging Psychiatric Clinic (1965–1966), where, supported by Professor Leo Navratil, she began to draw. She was particularly fond of depicting genital organs as well as figures in a childlike style.
