WOJCIECHOWSKY agatha

Agatha Wojciechowsky claimed to have been in contact with the beyond from the age of four years. In 1923 she emigrated to the United States, where she became a servant, seamstress, laundress and kitchen help. She married and started a family. Thanks to her healing abilities, she became a famous medium. In 1951, she started the production of her automatic drawings. Recognized in her lifetime as a “Surrealist” artist, she had been part of group exhibitions, for example with Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, Jean Dubuffet, Isamu Noguchi, Francis Picabia and Romare Bearden.
