Kaoru Kobayashi lives in Higashimatsuyama and is part of the Count 5 association, a center welcoming artists with disabilities. Passionate about advertisements and comic magazines, he enjoys bringing back to life the most terrifying characters. Yet, through his line, Hulk, Shrek, Frankenstein or Dracula, often sketched on monochrome backgrounds, become endearing and friendly, extending that world of childhood in which one takes pleasure in being frightened.
