Born with Down’s syndrome, Pierre Bonard took painting lessons with the painter and sculptor Maurice Perrenoud when he was twelve years old. Since then, every evening, he created in his room at the Lavigny clinic. The compositions always present the same motifs: exotic temples, villages decorated for celebrations, imaginary cities, palaces and landscapes.
