SEKO misuzu

Since 2000, Misuzu Seko has been working at the Yamanami workshop, located in Shiga Prefecture. Her embroidery work is entirely unique. She begins by selecting the thread she likes, then ties a looped knot at the end. She repeats this action over a period of time, causing the threads and knots to tangle. The mixture of different thread colors gives her embroidery an inimitable charm.
