Daniel Miller’s childhood and adolescence, marked by autism and frequent epileptic seizures, unfolded in a difficult family context. He joined the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland in 1992. His work spans a wide diversity of formats and supports, exploring multiple forms and chromatic ranges.
Miller works with letters energetically to the point of saturation, enriching his compositions with motifs representing everyday objects and familiar environments: light bulbs and electrical outlets, food, places and familiar people, etc.
