Giga, a playful acronym coined by the centre’s director, has been attending the Blu Cammello workshop since 2008. A prolific artist, he explores a wide range of subjects, with a particular fondness for urban landscapes. His compositions emerge from the encounter between images drawn from books and magazines and elements born from his own imagination.
Using a technique that combines ink and acrylic, Giga creates singular worlds where reality and fiction come together. His recent works incorporate “clouds” of text, reminiscent of messages addressed directly to us. Each panel thus becomes a short, dreamlike narrative, unfolding stories that are both intimate and mysterious.
