Although Koji Nishioka, who attends the Corners art center, did not begin to draw until 2004, he has been interested in letters and symbols since childhood, writing on the back of advertising fliers and in school notebooks. He loves music, plays the piano, and has been writing on sheet music for several years, changing the notes into musical boats to create a visual depiction of sound effects.
