INTICONA, shaman

In the 90s, a now deceased Peruvian artist living in Lima once took ayahuasca with the shaman known as Inticona. Ayahuasca, according to its followers, produces for those who take it visions and an awareness of the moral meaning of life and of man’s connection to the universe. The experience awakens and rids the soul of negativity. During this session, Inticona made these interventions using magazines which he believes bear witness to the decadence of contemporary society.
