The year 1925 was crucial in the life of Margarethe Held: she entered in contact with the beyond and communicated with her deceased husband and father. Twenty-five years later, she began drawing, four hundred pastel drawings in four months, all dictated by the spirits. Through them, Shiva ordered her to tell to other mortals that the universe contains secrets, that every being has a destiny and that nothing happens without reason. Margarethe Held then received further orders from him: write a book, note in it the messages she received as well as her travels to various planets. Among the faces she drew (the dead, gods, spirits and elves), we find the “good dead,” who have a magical and protective force, the “evil dead,” causing misfortunes and disasters but also male or female elves who help people in their work.
