Yuichi works at the Kobo Shu workshop, creating drawings into which he writes the names of his favorite television programs. Each drawing is inextricably tied to the day on which the particular show is broadcast. Although his works are based on typography, he has gradually achieved a formal abstraction quite far removed from Japanese ideograms.
