Julius Bockelt, who works at the Atelier Goldstein, has been painstakingly exploring the boundaries of perception since childhood. For him, waves and vibrations are visual, structural and acoustic phenomena. He is fascinated by the sound and structure of clouds (which he spends most of the day photographing) and also the process by which soap bubbles are created. His talent for observation finds expression in small-scale drawings that develop the principles of layering and echoes.
