As a teenager, Braillon was deeply affected by an accident that killed his father and brother. He comes from a railroad family and has been interested in trains all his life, but he never managed to get a job with the railroad. Braillon likes to explore freight-yards and also collects train publications. His aimless life brought him to prison, where he began to draw freight trains, using a ruler to meticulously sketch parallel train sets, sometimes several meters long, on large reams of graph paper.
