Adela Duchacova was part of the spiritualist current of the Giant Mountains region in northern Bohemia. Employed as a worker, it was in 1910 that she began to draw and produced several hundred drawings for 25 years; only 3 are known to date. Her husband also devoted himself to spiritualism and drawing. The history of the Origin and the Purpose of the Mediumistic Drawings in General and in Bohemia in Particular (1913) of St. J. Belohradsky indicates that Adela Duchacova also participated in collective drawings.
