Damian Valdes Dilla left school at the age of seventeen due to serious mental health problems. After a failed marriage, he has been living with his mother in a small apartment in Havana. He constructs buildings, towers and flying vehicles from found material. Since 2014 he has drawn meticulously detailed and ordered cities, which stand in direct contrast to the chaos to which his assemblages bear witness.
